Meet Summer

Summer (Zixiu) Wu, Esq. is a California-licensed attorney and founder of The Law Firm of Summer Wu, LLC, a boutique practice helping international brand owners protect and grow their presence in the U.S.

With 18+ years in IP law, she has prepared, filed, and prosecuted hundreds of U.S. trademark applications before the USPTO — guiding clients through Office Action responses, multi-class filings, Madrid Protocol extensions, and more.

Summer holds multiple advanced law degrees, including an LL.M. in Chinese Law from Renmin University of China and an LL.M. in U.S. Law from George Mason University, and has been licensed with the State Bar of California since 2025.

In her spare time, Summer enjoys watercolor painting and other art, yoga, hiking, and spending time with nature.
